Joined the society January 2021 as a new year resolution to explore classical guitar music in more depth. I've been playing rhythm guitar (acoustic steel) with the Southampton Folk Orchestra for four years. Since the start of lockdown I've branched out to classical music and have been following an online course with Brad Werner. Currently able to play, after a fashion, Lagrima and Adelita by Tarrega from memory.

My strenths are perseverance, organisation and practice discipline. Weaknesses: not a "natural" musician, bad nerves when performing solo (even with family), no problem in the safety of an orchestra though!
