Your subscription to SCGS qualifies as a donation under the government’s Gift Aid scheme. The Society is able to reclaim 25% of your subscription from the tax you pay if you make a Gift Aid Declaration by clicking this checkbox.
I am a UK taxpayer and I would like Southampton Classical Guitar Society to reclaim tax on all qualifying subscriptions I have made and will make in future, until I notify them otherwise.

Payment

Click the Submit button. You will be taken to a GOCARDLESS payment screen where you can pay your membership subscription (£30 per year) by Direct Debit
Some notes about Gift Aid
Please notify the Society if you:

  • want to cancel this declaration
  • change your name or home address, or
  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.
